Pelithos is one of the four Shards of The Integrum. It is the home realm of the Fey races.
History
Like all mortal realms of The Integrum, Pelithos's history begins at the end of the First Age, when The Integrum was constructed.
Gilded (Elysian) Age
Remembered in Myth as a golden time of high culture, magic, and civilization during which Pelithos was fairly unified and formed its common culture and language. There are lots of ruins and lost wonders from that age, many on high mountains. the ancients had flying vessels, the secret of their making has been lost. During the Elysian Age, Pelithos had a common, continent-spanning civilization. It is remembered as a golden time of high magic, arts, and lore during which the peoples of Pelithos were united by a common culture and language. The Elysians laid down most of the traditions of law and democracy. Their ruins and monuments are scattered across the whole of Pelithos.
Shattered (Syntrivian) Age
- shard emerges from the Shattering. Populace remixed into fey, gods have been remixed into triple-domains.
- godswar, ending w/ the Reaver releasing a titan with the Key, before being brought down.
- titan name possibilities: Anadar (celestial/space/cosmic-aspected titan; light, darkness, gravity, nebulae, etc)
- First Titanomachia: titan slays the rest of the gods and seeks to crack open other vaults on Pelithos to consume the titans within. Defeated and reimprisoned by the Immortals / Lords (within Mount Kyterios?)
- slain gods prime foci shatter along triple-domain fracture lines, sending out 3 mantles each. Aspects of the original Primarch's soul / personality remain stuck to them, coloring the mantles. Mortals start picking up mantles, becoming imitheoi.

Culture
- Art
- Kidemonian art is associated with the Sentinel. Its music is orderly, intricate and mathematical. Kidemonian poetry is more literary/historic, and adheres to particular rules and formats.
- Korephtian art is associated with the the Dancer. It is wild and passionate, with heavy rhythms and a lot of extemporization. Korephtian poetry is dreamlike, impressionistic, and free form.
- Paizon: the best known game on Pelithos, a strategic game in the manner of chess and go, straight-forward to learn yet with boundless complexities to master. Legend has it that it was invented by the Sentinel herself.
Mortals
- Alseids / Elves
- the shard race of Pelithos
- Maenads
- shattered age era Strange-touched minded Alseids; minor in the Shattered Age, generally confined to small nomadic groups or "maenad colonies", but survived the Night better, so became more numerous.
- Dro-on
- (nyxian alseids)
- Pligians / Pligian Alseids (Potameides, river nymphs, for their home of Potamia?)
- mortalized by the Queensplague
- Hesperides
- (alseids shepherded by the Edicts god-king of Aletheia, nymphs of the golden afterglow of the evening/sunset, memory of the sun protecting them from the Night; how are they marked? rune-covered? porcelain skinned? very lawful?)
- Alseid Ferals
- Harpies
- Satyrs
- Centaurs
- Pythians
- Myrmidons
- Tritons
Post-Fall Elemental Forms
- Dryads and Oreads:
- created from alseids taking the Elixir of Sleep, which was meant to just make them slumber eternally until woken, to protect them (maybe a planned waking rotation to care for them, or they were among the Pligians or Aletheiads or guarded by servitors or something?), but their forms changed, taking on stone and wood with time. Maybe they rotated, slumbering for a while, bleeding away the excess night while others woke and tended them, until it was time to swap. Mask and Caduceus partnered to create the elixir?
- Neriads / Naiads - shepherded by Chemaros
- melted down into his waters and the Night leeched / diluted (evil dialysis?). but melting down is a periodic necessity, they need water, even though it no longer needs to be Chemaros' waters, now it's just a biological need. What did Chemaros do with all the Night? Is there a vessel full of it? Did it make him really grumpy?
- <wind>??? Nephelae, nymphs of clouds? Aurai, nymph of the breezes (shepherded by the Wand, thus affiliated with the Witch?) Gaseous, have to exert to become solid?
- Lamia (a secret society of Pattern heralds, they are were-serpents (lycanthropic pythians), they have a means of guaranteeing that an infection becomes lycanthropic, letting them propagate membership, this requires the aid of a Pattern mantle (to provide access to the right Codex patterns for the ritual), which has invariably been the Viper; they are like independent contractors that have helped many Vipers down the years, getting paid with its aid. They can recruit from pythians and alseids
- Nyxian Centaurs (not a race, just night heralds, devil-juiced/altered individuals)
- Immigrants
- Nor
- Minotaurs: feral nor from acrolon
- Gnolls / Kynokephaloi / Kynes
- Demonblooded Nor / Lascicians
- Azer / Dactyloi (dwarves, often minor fury-mutation due to where they live?)
- Gorgons (fury cult sorcerer-mutants)
- Glacial Satyrs (cult)
- Windfury Harpies (cult)
- Saltbound Kampoi / Tritons (cult)
- Asteriae, nymphs of the stars? fury-touched alseids?
- Fury Monsters
- Leukrotta
- Mandragora
- Cyclops (fury giants)
Vathys?
- Arcadians: Vathys, Hags
