pointcrawl script
- store all journal entries for the pointcrawl in a folder
- when you turn on the pointcrawl tile, turn on all player's journal entry view, make those journal entry permissions public
- when you turn off the pointcrawl tile, don't change journal view status, make those journal entry permissions GM-only
- ??? double the travel times / distances to remove the .5 distances (make them whole numbers)? maybe double for rough country travel (ie distances don't change, just distance traveled per day), making roads much more valuable?
??? a standard expedition has a certain operating time, based on the expected distance to travel (there, back, a certain time at the site) - distance is based on a rough "shortest path"; longer routes may require / expect a resupply from an outpost, supply ship (on the coast), village, etc. - exceeding your operating time leads to expedition fatigue as resources get scarce (unless you can replenish them), it also invites more events and encounters - minor, moderate, and major / dire mishaps: 5, 10, or ??? expedition fatigue if not mitigated (halving is common, sometimes they can be totally neutralized)
- switch to pure "waste money for xp"? (still roll carouse for boons/banes, but always get xp)
