The historical ages of the universe are the largest units of measured time, lasting hundreds or thousands of years. There are six historical ages, occurring in the following chronological order:
- The Lost Age, stretching from an unknown beginning and lasting an unknown amount of time until The Founding
- The First Age, beginning with The Founding and lasting roughly 450 years until The Integration
- Bastion appears in the universe
- The Gilded Age, beginning with The Integration and lasting 745 years until The Shattering
- The Shattered Age, beginning with The Shattering and lasting 320 years until The Fall
- The Dark Age, beginning with The Fall and lasting 680 years until The New Dawn
- The Dawn Age, beginning with The New Dawn and lasting to the present day
