Prelude
Before violence began, the massive fortress of the Founders, Bastion, unfolded into larger and larger shapes. Titans assaulted Bastion in turns, but could not mar its defenses and eventually grew bored. Founders emerged from Bastion when it was not under assault to interact with less hostile Primals, such as those who became Immortals. Through these interactions, the Founders gained knowledge about the universe and the Titans and developed strategies for the conflict.
