Kasyat (Kasyati) is one of the Shards of The Integrum. It is the home realm of the Ruk races.
History
Like all Shards of The Integrum, Kasyat's history begins during The Shattering at the end of the Gilded Age, when the Shards were created. During the Gilded Age, Kasyat and the other Shards did not exist, as there was only a single Mortal Realm. Prior to the Gilded Age, The Integrum did not exist, as it was constructed during the First Age.
Shattered Age
Major events of the Shattered Age of Kasyat include, in chronological order:
- The Shattering: Kasyat experienced this great cataclysm, just like the rest of The Integrum.
- Rise of the Ruk: The mortals of Kasyat were diminished from the Template:Link Paragons Race of the Gilded Age, becoming the short-lived and stubborn Ruk.
- First Gods War: The First Gods War in Kasyat was called Shemeshu, where the Gods vanished.
- Elfmoot: Fey were rebuffed by the Ning.
- The Barigor: The invasion of Kasyat by the Ning of Tonwei through the first shard gate, as well as the subsequent wars and the founding of the Empire of Acrolon. Barigor war strategy also exposed the Ruk to the Feral curse.
- Neogi Incursion: Involve something inspired Apophis the snake god of chaos.
- Grazzt Incursion: Paranoia-fueled cold war with a tanari backed conspiracy / rival nation.
- Titanfall: Someone in Carceri runs amok.
Dark Age
Major events of the Dark Age of Kasyat include, in chronological order:
- The Fall: Kasyat experienced this great cataclysm, just like the rest of The Integrum.
- Beginning of Storms: City of Storms lands in the Strange Sea and sends out Fury weather.
- Dragonfall: Many dragons die, but some make deals with Ruk paragons to free themselves from their Integral form and become Fury Dragons, in return for forming Draconic bloodlines of sorcery in the Ruk.
- The Night Market: Pattern gods create the dream library where dreamers are protected from Strange and where Shards can share ideas and communicate safely.
- Lascivian Empire: Demonic bloodlines corrupt the nobility of the Acrolon Empire who become puppets of the Primarch Lascivia.
- The Dark March: With the help of Shadow Magic and the Template:Category Tanari, The Lascivian Empire begins a campaign of conquest across the other Shards.
- City of Mists: Azad is visited by the Anomaly, stuff ensues
Dawn Age
Major events of the Dawn Age of Kasyat include, in chronological order:
- New Dawn: The Sun is rekindled, returning the Grand Design of Day to the Shards.
- The Enefir: Return of the gods from the past suddenly.
- Vashar Arrive: They settle back here in their Dark Age homelands after being freed from the Abyss when Xenox is sacrificed to bring back Aeon.
- Grand Miracle: That thing the Cabal and Some Other Faction did.
- Desolation: Serukh smites his Ning followers and turns a province in the southwest into a wasteland.

Geography
There are seven major polities:
- Moon Kingdom: Capital is in Pillars of the Moon, controls Haraj Radam and Majira. Ruled by a secret cabal of Template:Link Arcanists. Favored by Theret.
- Barigor Tribes: Loosely organized across Aradir, Barigor, with raids into Majira, Sunleaf Kingdom, and The Holds. Cursed by Serukh.
- New Acrolon: Small kingdom of Nova Agria, ruled by remnants of the Lascivian Empire. Control extends to Sharayasa. Favored by Ankhura.
- Fireson Nomads: Wandering tribe of spiritual, pacifist hedonists. Anarchistic family clans spread across the Shard. Favored by Ubasti.
- The Holds: Coalition of city states through the plans of the same name, loosely vassals of Vashad.
- Vashad: Oligarchy of Vashar controlling Cape of Dark Waters and Emerald Coast. Favored by Herokor.
- Sunleaf Kingdom: Kingdom of Template:Wood Ruk based in The Vales and the lands of the same name. Favored by Rahem.

- The Holds: Alliance of powerful city states, loosely controlled by the Vashar.
- Bhan Esani: Great Fireson gypsy merchant city
- Madifida: Great utopian city
- Istilqa Matar: Great pirate city
- Majira: Lands controlled by Moon Kingdom and the location of Aechemar, the City of Mists. Many Stone Ruk fortresses.
- Nova Agria: Capital lands of New Acrolon. Kleptocratic rule of Lascivian colonizers.
- Peaks of Aqtam: Homeland of the Fireson Nomads. Largely uncivilized. Location of the Fire Heart.
- Pillars of the Moon: Homeland of the Cabal of Mysteries and the Moon Kingdom. Location of the Rain Heart. Ring around the karst called Whispering Barrens, which is a site of a great magical pacification and subsequent curse by Serukh.
- Sharayasa: The East Isles, controlled by New Acrolon.
- Sunleaf Kingdom: Sprawling lands of forests, hills, and plains, controlled by the Sunleaf Kingdom.
- The Vales: Forest surrounding a large fjord called the Vale Blade. Controlled by the Sunleaf Kingdom, though largely wild.
There are 8 major bodies of water:
- Bed of Pillars: Bay of the Pillars of the Moon.
- Aqtam Sea: Waters north and east of Peaks of Aqtam.
- The Vale Blade: Waters between The Vales, as well as the mainland and Sharayasa.
- Freewater: Waters to the east and south of The Holds.
- Emerald Bay: Waters off the Emerald Coast.
- Midnight Sea: Waters south and west of Cape of Dark Waters.
- Gulf of Barigor: Waters off the coast of Barigor Mountains. Location of Serukh's Eye island.
- Sharna Sea: Waters west of Majira.
