Immortals are those Primals which allied with The Founders during The Integration War. For their allegiance to The Founders, the Immortals were granted forms compatible with The Integrum. Some retired to a quiet existence in remote areas of The Integrum. Others aided the Gods of The Integrum, acting as cosmological consultants, being experts in the Primal energy that fueled The Apparatus. Still others rebelled against The Founders for a variety of reasons, and were imprisoned.
